Focused, Cosmic Prayer

I'm praying for NUMC. Are you? Below is my prayer guide for the church as we now consider the Consultation Report and discern our next steps together. Please pray with me.

 

PRAY LIKE THIS...

That God empower the church with the Holy Spirit like never before;

That God's will become perfectly clear to ourselves, our church leaders and pastors;

That the church staff grows deeper in faith, empower their ministries, develop their leadership;

That new ministry areas be revealed, discovered;

That new leaders will be developed, called, encouraged;

That God prepares the Newburgh area for the ministries we will begin through this process;

That the NUMC family grow closer together in love, friendship, service;

That our small groups, Sunday School Classes and Bible Study groups continue to grow in both numbers and spiritually;

That our worship experiences be filled with relevant teaching, spirit-moving worship and authentic, life changing responses;

That our mission efforts be expanded and blessed;
That we fully embrace Jesus Christ's call for us, to make disciples of all nations, so that all we do gives glory to God through his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord!

Something is going to happen. Whether it happens in us or in the whole church, it will be noticeable. Pray with me, in this cosmic way and let's see just what God might have in store for Newburgh UMC!
