I didn't forget you. I had my first Purpose Driven Life Group this morning at 6:00 a.m. Ten of us have chosen to gather on this unGodly hour to grow closer in our relationship with God. It was a good morning.
But that means I will not be able to post bright and early on Tuesdays unless I just can't sleep or unless I stay up late on Monday evening. (which may happen from time to time.) So don't give up on me. I sure haven't given up on you!
-------------------------------------------------
Everyone’s life is driven by something!
“I observed that the basic motive for success is the driving force of envy and jealousy.” Ecclesiastes 4:4 (LB)
What is the driving force in your life?
Without a purpose, life is motion without meaning, activity without direction, and events without reason. There are five great benefits of living a purpose-driven life:
- Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life…
- Simplifies your life …
- Focuses your life …
- Motivates your life.
- And knowing your purpose prepares you for eternity.
Many people spend their lives trying to create a lasting legacy on earth. Yet, what ultimately matters most will not be what others say about your life but what God says. Living to create an earthly legacy is a shortsighted goal. A wiser use of time is to build an eternal legacy. You weren’t put on earth to be remembered. You were put here to prepare for eternity.

I heard it said this past weekend that if we don't know who we are, the world will tell us. The same is true for our purpose. If we don't find the purpose God has for us,the world will make sure to give us one!
Even with knowing our purpose, the world will try very hard to get us off track!
Now it is time for me to go and focus again on the purpose God has given me!
I know that my life is driven with jealously and what everyone else has. I look at other people and think what do they have that I don't have. I know that everyone of else is different in God's own way and that I need to find my own purpose on earth. I know that finding a purpose in my life will lessen the stress and anxiety in my life and with God's help make me stand up straighter instead of slouched over.
that purpose, the one designed for me orginally, the one I have worked to re-tool at times. The perfect plan God has for me. Thanks God for keeping my eyes on the truth and seeking your will for me daily.
